All this talk about which religion is superior is so goddamn tiring.
There is no religion. There are superior individuals that influence the masses around them. That is all there is, has been, or ever will be. The individuals who shape the culture, since then and forever.
People never worship the idea of the religion. They worship the gods. Whoever they choose to worship.
A culture revolves around individuals. As much love as I may hold for the culture of the simple, rustic lifestyle of an idyllic European countryside, there is no denying it has been that only because of a group of individuals, throughout history, who have influenced the beliefs of the common folk.
Long live the individual.
Death to the institutions.
