>>7396974I grew up with a lot of confidence issues (thinking I was ugly, awkward, undateable, etc.). Luckily I embraced that I was different from people and learned to be more comfortable with myself. I learned a few things to better interact with people without putting on a face. I learned that actually dressing decent helps a lot along with general hygiene and self care. Cultivating yourself, and having your life together is the hottest thing for a romantic partner that wants to be serious.
As for interactions. I haven't tried this but it may be a good start if you're nervous, just jump into new discord channels on something you have some interest it. Make new friends that way, people are easier to open up online and its a good place to have common ground.
Reading the other suggestions, they seem good. I would say focus on just conversation. You don't have to be the life of the party but understanding flow, dynamics and context is good.
IRL interactions are best but hard to find. Even I'm struggling with that honestly.

>>7407208I saw all my friends become NEETs or go nowhere in life. Once I really started moving to get my shit together, it was just depressing to be around them. It gets better my guy, its not always fun but I dont regret it when I see the other option.
