I didn't start to develop my looks until I finished my undergrad, before then, I knew when people were speaking to me it was because they wanted to or they had a good reason to. Now that I'm hot, people just talk to me for no reason and ramble on about absolute fucking bullshit. People want to attach themselves to you, they want to have you in their pocket, they want to parade you around like a handbag, the point is, you're surrounded by fake people.
At least alone in your basement, nobody is abusing you or lying to you to meet their own ends. Different problems.
