if I were you I would make text icons using uccw and making two simple rows of icons in the water, because the rocks down below can be bothersome when looking at your icons.
uccw does cost money but there are free apps out there that can help turn your icons into minialistic text.
or say you want banner icons like what I made a few minutes on my phone. icon changer does it all and the best thing about it is you don't have to worry about the pictures not 'formatting' properly to the grid as it does it all for you.
