I think bright/white backgrounds look like crap and I'm not a big fan of the look of that skin. Also 4:3, ick. Still looks pretty nice though, kept it minimal.

Taskbar and start button are ugly, get rid of the recycle bin shortcut. Wallpaper is beautiful.

Left taskbar looks decent. I dig the general look of the one on the right a lot, great icons, start button and clock, but the gloss effect isn't really doing it for me. Right background is nice, left is mediocre.
