I had this friend with bipolar. Always getting into shit. He immigrated to the states and nearly got shot down by a cop during one of his manic fits. He moved town, found a lovely girl and seems to be happy now. Also, weed helped calm him down.
Hope springs eternal, I guess, if he could make it.
On breaking bad, I really agree on the ending. Pinkman deserved a bit more focus than just driving off into the sunset (and a Need for Speed film). There's a great article analysing his character and how abusive father figures constantly ruined his life, called "Jessie Pinkman and Male Self Hatred".
