What you have to say is what our ancestors have said; the essence of the feeling of change has not been lost throughout all of time. I’m sure those living near the heart of the Roman Empire felt the same when bread became free for the lower classes.
But, agreed, even then, they had a greater connection to nature, thereby a greater sense of survival. But, anon, this does not mean you must be disconnected from nature too. You can emerse yourself into that way of life, and there are others who do so too. Seek them. When you become one, invite others to join you. Many—and I mean the vast majority of humanity—lacks drive or direction; this is evident given our government structures throughout all of history. Sure, we live in an age of liberalism, but, instead of a centralised direct ruler, we have a collection of secret elites swaying and directing the masses. There is always more of the followers than the leaders—like the Mandate of Heaven, some men are just born into this world with a natural drive and purpose. Use whatever Christ has given you that allows you to whip the reigns of yourself, and lead others to survivalism. Free the yoked.
