Obviously nobody's perfectly on topic, but it got way out of hand with the trashposters, as is evident in the fact that desktop threads aren't allowed on /g/ anymore. The moderation never changed, desktop threads just went from 80% desktops and 20% off-topic to 80% off-topic and 20% desktops.
