Growing up, I always thought "home" was slow, boring and backwards. Graduated, friends moved away, had to turn into an adult.... which required moving all over the country, seeing different places and working my ass off. Now I'm hitting a point where money isn't something I have to worry about and I've realized how nice it can be to just wake up, look outside and see a quiet, lovely-smelling field of trees instead of some shitbag city full of shitbag people.
This is hopefully what my back yard will look like when my house is finished next year.
