Of course, under the same logic you could chalk all thought and emotion up to a chemical reaction, including the idea that love is pointless. Who's to say which reaction is better? I know one of them perptuates the species, the other doesn't. I would never end it, despite the recklessness and other various negative (at least perspectively negative, but again who can say when it comes to perspective) things we do to ourselves and each other. Even if just one of them looks like this it would be enough for me to never end it.
