Kind of a cute story behind how I became familiar with it. When I was a kid and going through a rough patch, mom gave me this little wooden box she'd hand painted/decorated with the quote on the inside of the lid. She had this really nice talk with me. I've always had a personal connection to this quote because of that. I'm sure no one gives a shit but yeah... this proverb gives me feels.
