If you'll accept some unsolicited advice: spend as much time with him as you can. I never got to appreciate my grandparents before they died, and I now wish I had that time back. He sounds important to you, so go see him or call him often. As for your wrist; I hope it gets better. Take the time off work if you can, and let it heal. Read books and work on small projects to keep your mind sharp and body active.
