There's a girl I went to High School with that I never really talked to until this past summer. We started hanging out and talking a lot more during the last month and eventually, even though I didn't want to (got out of a bad relationship 4 months ago), I fell in love with her.
I was straight up and told her how I felt and she told me that she had been feeling the same way, but obviously couldn't reciprocate feelings because she was leaving for college in Montreal very soon, so we both decided to just enjoy the time that we had together. I visited her right after she had gotten her wisdom teeth taken out and I got her two big tubs of chocolate ice cream, which was her favorite flavor, and that night I ended up spending the night and she insisted I sleep in her bed, with her.
At some point during the night the pain woke her up and she realized I was awake too and asked why. I asked for her hand and took it in mine. We held hands for a second. Then I took two fingers and put it up to my neck so she could feel my pulse. She asked why it was beating so hard and so fast and I said, "it's you". She took my hand, wrapped it around her, and fell asleep on my chest, telling me my heartbeat was helping her fall asleep.
The next time we saw each other was a day after my birthday. We had plans to go hang out with friends but they didn't fall through so she ended up just staying over and watching Friends with me all night. At some point we went to Safeway and I bought us food. I told her she could spend the night over at my place and she did. She went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, got changed into my pjs, and crawled into my bed. She leaned in really close to me and said thank you for the toothbrush, the pajamas, dinner, and letting her spend the night. I told her thank you for staying over and then I went for it and kissed her.
I had never had a kiss in my entire life filled with so much passion and so much feeling.
