>>6632911i still dont get it; why does mainstream vaporwave influenced art still cling on such edgy color schemes. imho, high contrast palette leaning (not intended) towards pink or turquise parts of the color scale is getting quite stale. i like going to vaporwave threads but its sad because of the fact that in a thread with 100+ image replies, i find like 2 or 3 papes that actually have some artistic value. everything else is just unoriginal, uncongruent and beside the point of vaporwave. its not about the color scheme, palm trees, ferns, busts, guns, hiragana/kanji etc. some people will simply never grasp the concept of this genre of art and for this reason many say that vaporwave is dead. its not. its just that most vaporwave is made by unoriginal people repeating the same elements and motives to no end, to the point where it's a meme. im not saying those motives arent ok to use, just that using them isnt enough.
drop that saturation boy, shift that hue a little, nobody's gonna want to have a wallpaper that mindnumbing on their desktop unless they wanna show others how obscure, deep and special of a snowflake they are.
anyway, ill keep posting some of my edits
