I don't get it, they had a whole mission in D1 where you release Rasputin from Earth, and then several more where you defend his core (still on Earth). I'm just curious if they forgot or if they honestly don't give a shit. They could've made content purely on what they set up in D1 for several games, but no we have to fucking retcon everything cool and add in random crap we made up on a whim.
