Hey there gang. Found these on an open directory a little while ago. I only saved these three, but there were probably two dozen similar scans. Not really particularly sure of the context or source, but what little research I've done says these should be set near Wellington (rather obviously) in '42 through '43 in training for and during the Guadalcanal campaign. They might not be usable as wallpapers for everyone but I'm sure you could crop out the middle section of this one in particular and get something nice. 1/3
