>>7613813Hey anon, it sounds like you're dealing with some self-esteem problems here; a crucial point being that you have started giving out bits and pieces of yourself in order to satisfy other peoples' needs, regardless of who they are, and also rejecting any help.
Do you want to write about what happened that made you feel this way? A gradual or sudden incident? Relationships, loss, or some form of realisation?
>>7612919Hey anon, don't fret too badly - it's always possible to find friends even through online lessons! For example, through group projects, you could find a cool friend or too you get along nicely with - and from there onwards, you can ask them along for some virtual watch sessions / gaming sessions etc. Also, your year 1 isn't the only time you can make friends - focus on your grades, learning new knowledge, meeting new people but don't get too disappointed if it's hard to make friends - making good friends take alot of time and interactions to happen.
I spent my year 1 meeting alot of people, wanting to make new friends but the COVID situation also made the friendships drift apart. With the upcoming year 2 having half a year of full online classes, I'm not going to keep my head down; instead, I'm going to spend this time figuring out a career I have some interest in, improve on my drawing skills and improve on my anxiety.
So don't feel too gloomy over it, try to focus on your life as well, and hopefully one year later (if a thread like this is still around), you'll be able to update on your situation :)
