>>7096986Here's my theme. -
>>7096653I find that having a plain background with a picture on top (of something you like) works best.
I found both images on Google Image search which shows you the resolution.
In KLWP I simply put the gif of the owl over the dark background and had a square behind the image to add a plain white border. I think that having one big image like you have looks too messy.
Here are good examples ITT that are good examples of this
>>7096394 and >>7095994 - the background is just white and has a girl on it. >>7094750 - The fox is the only image, the rest is a grey background. Looks unique. >>7094744 - a dark image over a lighter, complimentary background - >>7094689 this is similar. >>7093843 - very nice and minimalistic - mostly a plain white background. - >>7092481 similar to this and this >>7091057>>7091008 - The image grabs your eye, but doesn't take up the entire page. I think you get what I mean. Your wallpaper, especially if it's bright, vivid sharp, and has a lot going on, like the ones you've picked out, shouldn't take up the entire screen. Have your widgets around the image (really, try and replace the status bar with them.)
You don't have to stick by these rules, I just think it'll work best for what you've shown me so far.
I've also attached a gif of the owl in my homescreen.
