I recommend anyone wanting to do anything, go to that place of business. See and learn what they do on the daily. The world has romanticized so much of the world, that once you're actually there, it's hell.
I went to school for architecture. I knew the pay would be less than optimal for most places. But this had been my dream since childhood. Graduated, got a job in 4 months. Made $40k starting. Not bad for a recent grad in the Midwest. But the day to day killed it. 3 months in and I hated waking up to go to work. The work was boring, the people were always bitching, and the Principal was shit. So I quit. 2 months later, haven't found a replacement firm. Working fed temporary until something happens.
