Looks clean. For removing gradient, I don't think you can, try looking up a module on xposed. I think this works though:

First page is alright, No icons, second page is somewhat cluttered to me, but if it works for you then it's whatever. I feel like all the upcoming forecasts aren't worth the screen real-estate.
