>>7208884It makes me sad that no one cares about culture anymore. It used to mean something in America when you said what state you were from because there was real connection between people. Maryland was where Catholics lived, New York and Boston rivalry existed as more than a way to advertise sporting events, and being from the South was actually something you could be proud of. Now it's all been destroyed in an effort to make everyone the same. What's wrong with differences? I feel like as time moves on, we celebrate the differences less and less and shame them. Someone from Wisconsin says pop instead of soda? Better call him an idiot and make him feel bad. I feel like this whole "white nationalist" rebirth is really just a reactionary movement to how attacked those people feel and I sympathize with them in that regard even if I disagree with the callous way they present themselves. But I think that the country would be much better off if we allowed people to enclave themselves. We'd be better off if we stop forcing integration between cultures. Not just white and black, white and asian, or whatever else, but between WASPs and Irish, Irish and Italian, etc. The sheer amount of interracial couples in media is astounding to me since that population is so small relative to the country as a whole and I don't understand why. /pol/ likes to blame jews or blacks or whomever but that's just them being nonsensical. I just know that I want it to stop because of I don't want to be a grandfather or great grand father to some kind of grey or brown alien. My family has been on this land for 400 years, and I just want my family to stay MY family. I don't want my children to be shamed into accepted relationships with people that look nothing like them and I don't think that's wrong.
