Sorry I'm about to rant, and it's not particularly about what you said, it's more about powerlevel threads in general.
Literally the point is that if someone is walking by your computer and sees your desktop background, they would not be able to name the source of that image unless they've seen what it refers to. In other words: anyone looking at your screen wont know you're a weaboo unless they are too.
Any stronger definition than that and you're getting into redundancy.
This means it's much harder to come up with subtle papes for popular shows, and not have someone catch on, but you could have a wallpaper with the names of the entire cast of an unpopular show and virtually nobody would get it. Context DOES matter, and /w/'s powerlevel folks don't seem to understand that. They tend to just treat every anime as though it's of equal popularity to something like Attack on Titan.
