My condolences on being evicted. Backpacking around Europe isn't a bad idea at all though, to be honest. If this isn't your first semester in school, take some time off, sell damn near everything you own, pick up a decent backpack (maybe a cheap Osprey) and stuff it with survival supplies; extra clothes, rain gear, food, a handheld stove, a collapsible cup and a first aid kit and just leave everything behind. I wish I had that luxury
