>>7638839Yeah thanks anon, you're right: there will always be people who put you down and want to watch you / others / the world burn. And yea, I guess I do like to ... marinate myself in sad emotions sometimes. Ironically, the reason why I wrote this post was because I am getting happier, but still feel down about this.
As someone with quite firm morals and am rather open-minded, I just get so frustrated seeing these types of people around. People who continue upholding dumb af traditions (genital mutilation etc), people who hate on others driving for positive change (actual feminists, activists... I really don't know why 'feminist' or 'BLM' is a dirty word, extremists aside) And the worse thing is when counter movements erode all forms of positive progress and worst, breed another generation of such people
>Surround yourself with happy people and try to see what choices they made that made them happy. You'll be surprised and dumbfounded.I'm curious, what have you discovered that is surprising and dumbfounding? For me, I've realised that these people are generally careful, confident, assertive, nature-loving and sociable. It's strange though, it's a little antithesis to the college fuccbois I see in my college
