>>6852179Sorry, I can see why that wasn't clear. A ui becomes more intuitive (and often prettier) if you can visually separate it into different parts. If you think of your rice as being in layers, your wall is the back and your menu thing sits on top — but because the back to that sliding thing is just blurred and is more or less just like the wallpaper, it hurts that effect of being 'forward' compared to the wallpaper. Now obviously I'm not an expert, but I do like the effect I get when I add a tint over blurred areas. I'll often reduce the saturation, darken it, and use bp() to overlay a transparent color in order to make the whole thing 'flatter.' That way it's more like a frosted glass pane. Here's an example.
