It's boring, and I didn't know why until recently: It's cause not enough people care enough to take risks. So they say yes to everything, end up with mediocre or even awful designs, and let us coders add more shit onto a project that should just be rewritten from scratch.
I'm looking for new jobs now at less established companies.
