As much as I love Dr Who, the amount of times he's stood by while people have died really annoys me. If he carried a weapon he could have saved a lot of lives.
Also he only seems to care for certain specific people, many others die all around him and he doesn't give a crap. Often he talks about how all life is precious and he's never met anyone who's not important but he'll let non plot driving characters die all over the place. Leave them imprisoned or dying in a hospital, mid conversion and not help. He'll happily walk through non important peoples corpses to save his companion.
