I just lost my mom. I didn't see her for 4 years and I couldn't get there in time to see her alive on the ICU (because covid). The last time l saw my mom's face was when the funeral agency took her body and I couldn't even touch her or come close. The burial was made within 2 hours and I didn't even had time to process the whole thing. I always tough I would have a lot of time to retribute my mom for everything she has done for me and to make her proud of me for achivieng a quality of life we couldn't dream of in our family.
My point is: do what you have to do and say what you have to say to your loved ones while you can. We don't know how many times left we have with them to do so.
