Our modern cities are homogenised and built around cost cutting and cramming tons of people into a tiny space, destroying all unique culture and overflowing with buzzing technology, and all create at least a small version of steamy rat-paradise New York.
You will notice that most of these 'solar-punk' cities look the same, not adapted to real climatic zones and various geographies, but all assuming the exact same enviroment.
This city would still require tons of gardeners but would be maintainable - hell we had cities that were like this.
The Enviromentalist types, for all their talk of specialisation tend to make their fantasy pics all the same, like the homogenised hell holes of modern cities.
And yes I sperged and wrote a lot. I am tilted.
