>>7125297I started to study physics, allthough I wasn´t particularly good in math or physics. I was simply very interested in the topic and had already acquired some base knowledge in my freetime.
People I studied with told me, I had a more intuitive understanding of most things then they had.
Anyway, I turned out to be even harder then I had anticipated, but I decided I wanted to pull through.
I quit after 3 semesters, cause I realized I couldn´t go on, under the constant high pressure.
It had broken me anyway.
It has been seven years since I started to study and I´m still busy reparing and curing myself of all the damage I took (or rather inflicted on myself) during that time.
I´m not saying, you should necessarily chose something easier (allthough I´d recommend it), but if you decide to study something so energy consuming, look out for your own well beeing.
Especially with a really stressfull topic to study (or job for that matter) you can easily loose sight of how much you need to take care of yourself.
