I see people having problems with sizes all the time on their wallpapers and pictures. I'm going to attempt to help some of you.
1-Steps to resize/shrink an image to fit your resolution. To do this my way you will need an imgur.com account which is free. So in this situation you have a wallpaper/picture that is too large for your screen resolution. Sign in to your imgur.com account. Then click on the upload button on the top left of your screen. Either drag your image into the upload box that should have appeared or select your image file. Upload your image. Make sure not to submit it to the gallery, if the title for the upload is optional and does not demand it, you did that right. It will then upload your image to your account. Click on the image section next your account name. Find the image, click it, and click the art pallet/edit button for the image. When the edit image screen opens, click the button on the top right that says keep the resolution matching. It should be unchecked then. Enter in your desired resolution in the resolution boxes. Click apply, and then save. (If apply is not an option for this edit, then just save. Memory is not the best for this.) The image should now be in the desired resolution. View the image in a new tab and then save it.
2- Finding an image in a larger resolution than saved. Open up google images. Drag the desired image into google. You should see the desired image within the first part of the search. Just search for larger sizes that you need. If you cannot find the exact resolution you need, just find a large size and follow the first situation I described.
I think this wraps up my explanation. I will be here if anyone needs more help, and I hope my explanation helps some of you.
I would appreciate dragon posts otherwise. I'll post a few to start it off.
