It is only useful when you have windows open, and on most launchers your notification bar will pop up with a window/app you have opened and remain hidden on the home and lock screen.

4/10. Get a launcher, and rid yourself of a lot of stuff, starting with that Google bar. Make your icons match; having some named, some colored, and some black and white is just jarring. Also, move stuff around. Stray away from the generic dock. You have that freedom, so why not?
