>OFFICIAL EDM THREAD #3 Welcome to the EDM thread! Here I basically dump an amount of song (between 40 or 50) that cater to the EDM genre, for all you of you to enjoy.
>IF YOU DO NOT LIKE EDM OR ANY ELECTRONIC MUSIC TYPES THEN PLEASE IGNORE THIS THREAD. ANY HATE IS NOT ALLOWED, PLEASE. >I ALSO POST A WALLPAPER WITH A SONG.. This is how things will work. I will dump 40 songs that cater to the EDM genre, whichever one I decide to dump.
This could be from common genres such as Electro or (GOOD) dubstep, to less known genres such as complextro or twostep. It's whatever one I have available to you.
After I dump all 40 songs to you, you may give a request. This can be anything from, "MOAR DRUM AND BASS", to, "Next time please post this said genre".
If you want to join me and share your music (Has to be EDM) feel free to do so. :D
>Before you ask for a specific type of request, make sure to be clear and to use proper grammar. >I will be making these thread every Saturday, and will monitor them from Saturday to Tuesday, as the thread will most likely be dead by then. >I only post YouTube links. If want a direct download link I will give it to you if requested. Speaking of YouTube, I will make a playlist on an account I made specifically for these types of thread for you to enjoy after this thread officially dies.
I will make a seperate playlist for every week. I will post the link after I dump all the music I have to offer.
So I suggest you subscribe to it and check any playlist updates every Staurday.

>>5426479 Hey OP, just recently got a real interest in EDM. I've seen threads like these before, and I would add all of the songs to a playlist, but I haven't heard them yet. Would rather we get a few great songs than a lot of songs I have to sort through.
Anyway, can you suggest something like this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsGiBwK4Ycc I like songs that use vocal as part of the beat or the background music.
Anonymous
>>5426484 Don't worry OP, I've seen these threads millions of times before. Feel free to keep going, I don't have much of an EDM library but I can help a bit if you want.
I don't like /mu/ anyway
INeedAWallpaper !QEvS6S7RQs
>>5426485 /mu/ hates EDM.
I have made threads like these in /mu/ and they tell me to gtfo. They don't think it's real music.
So I came here.
>>5426486 >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsGiBwK4Ycc That song is a classic. Love it.
Damn I wish I had more songs like that.
And by the way, refer to this post -
>>5426484 [Drumstep]
Daughter - Medicine (Sound Remedy remix)

I'm a huge noob when it comes to EDM, but here's one of the songs I've really liked recently:

INeedAWallpaper !QEvS6S7RQs

The chainsmokers are good artists, though.
I also just want to add that every song that is posted here will be added to the playlist for this week.

>>5426528 All I've done so far is subscribe to MrSuicideSheep on YouTube, hahah
Where do you get your EDM from?
INeedAWallpaper !QEvS6S7RQs
>>5426528 You like adventure Club I see.
They're okay. And a lot of those songs are pretty old, lol.
Anymore requests?
Anonymous
>>5426529 Thanks. I add them separately to my own, though. I'm sure there are a few lurkers that would like this.
I'm gonna start attaching wallpapers, since I'm more experienced in that.
>>5426539 I actually don't like Adventure Club specifically, there's just all I could go on after finding one or two good songs by them. I don't really know any other artists besides them, so I just searched them up. Again, I'm a pure noob, so I don't expect any of these songs to blow you away haha

I started off in the early days of UKF dubstep back in '08, then got deeper into EDM by discovering MrSuicideSheep and Monstercat back in '11.
It's really not that hard to find good channels who promote EDM. Just a few minutes of searching.
Just sub to my channel so you don't have to go through all the searching through different channels. I narrow it down for people.

>>5426554 I like emotionally intense EDM personally. I don't like pure dubstep, but I like it when there's a buildup and a drop during an EDM song. A good example is the first song I linked,
>>5426486 INeedAWallpaper !QEvS6S7RQs
>>5426585 There's a build-up and drop in every EDM song, man. Lol.
Here's what I have that would be considered emotionally intense dubstep. If you want another genre that caters to what you want just request. I have a bunch of songs that cater to you request, so sorry if you get overwhelmed. lol.
[Dubstep]
Minnesota - Stardust (Redux)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jwtrmBbYdg [Stepdub]
Clark Kent & Yinyues - Cosmos (Skrux & Complexion Remix)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXnxlDKeveY [Dubstep]
Seven Lions ft Fiora - Days To Come (Culture Code Remix)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFnlUk89Egs [Dubstep]
Fracx - Thoughts
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyGfbWl9wHU [Dubstep]
Shotgun Radio - A Bad Place (feat. Mimi Page) (Minnesota Remix)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkqk-0v28Z4 [Dubstep]
Above & Beyond - You Got To Go (Seven Lions Dubstep Remix)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=506NS0tDylw [Dubstep]
Encode - The Fog Of Love
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cRC7B4NBUw [Dubstep]
Kotez - Life
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5ekZnDIPgg [Dubstep]
One Republic - If I Lose Myself (Culture Code Remix)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JqayMiTqZA (I personally don't like the lyrics in this, skip to 1:23)
By the way, I call this type of dubstep "majestic" dubstep instead of emotionally intense. Some really great artists who make majestic dubstep are:
Seven Lions
Culture Code
Minnesota
Sound Remedy
Fracx
Encode
Skrux and Complextion
Anything else, my friend?

>>5426617 Arkasia - Angel (Feat. CoMa)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i68UuTNuOMI This. Fucking. Song.
I was looking through my old playlists and found this masterpiece.
Before I listened to it I found that the artist (Arkasia) had a grandmother who past away, and that song was dedicated to her. I listened to it.
I started tearing up at the end. I was about to burst into tears but I stopped myself.
You can feel the emotion in this song. It's so powerful, it sends goosebumps down my spine every fucking time I listen to it. I replayed this song at 50 times. It's so fucking emotional, so passionate, so powerful.
Listen to that. Please.

>>5426613 Liking it so far, thanks for your time! I think I can explore from here, I don't want to bug you too much about giving me specific songs, though artists are always nice.
I don't have a specific taste, as long as the song captures me. Relaxing is great, emotionally intensive is great as well.
Here's an example of a relaxing song I like, really contemplative
