Not that guy, but you don't have to download anything, you just create an empty folder and make a toolbar on your taskbar based on that, then position it so it pushes your icons to the center

The yellow coloration in your sidebar is a bit off from the rest being fairly monochromatic, if you want color I would suggest using the blue and green themes of your icons for it.

8.5/10, would be 9/10 if you fix that.

I tend to think of my desktop being very clean, as well as the extensive, yet minimal interface I have built that goes along with it(Which you obviously can't see from the screenshot.) A lot of the time on /wg/ I just see BBlean stuff, and frankly I've never been a fan.

Metro Uinvert, but a lot of the icons I use or made are altered from that or another pack. The ones of my taskbar are all from Metro Uinvert I believe, just with a few of the colours changed for my purposes. I think I may resize the GIMP one.

That taskbar's pretty sharp, but I've always thought a dock looked better.
It's the only thing Apple got right.
A nice, simple dock instead of a taskbar, and I'd say it's a perfect ten.

I run conky (the linux version of rainmeter) and I never found a setup that didn't look cluttered.
I've put it on a widget layer, that I can toggle on and off now, so that I still have quick access to vital info, but it doesn't mess up the screen.
If you can do something similar with rainmeter, that's what I'd recommend.

Yeah, but I use it to monitor weather, CPU and RAM usage, kernel processes, and a lot of other shit.
As it stands, all I've gotta do is hit F9 and I get all the info I need.
Hit it again, and everything looks nice and clean.

No it's not? You can see your volume / updates / internet so it's installed properly, and I don't see your aero taskbar glitching out anywhere, so I don't see what's the problem.
If you want bbleans's titlebar enable bbskin, but it's disgusting so don't do it.
Also your bbstyle is pretty awful, get a better one, edit it, change the width to 100% of your taskbar, get a 2nd taskbar for your other monitor, and edit your ncmpcpp

honestly I used to rainmeter and dock the fuck out of my desktop but since I upgraded to win8.1 the start screen has been my app launcher and it's actually fucking amazingly useful - now I just spruce my desktop up and then keep it at ocd levels of neat

As you'll see from the album "Quadrophenia [Director's Cut] - Disc 1" showing up three times, my songs aren't being sorted into album groups when viewed in the playlists.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Is it a tagging issue (shouldn't be, since I'm sourcing from my itunes music folder) or a sorting issue? I've tried a few sorting codes from online, but they didn't do anything. Perhaps I'm messing with the wrong places?

i recommend getting the arcs rainmeter skin to match the wallpaper. i dont think you need the rainmeter dock tbh. please remove desktop shortcuts.
