When I go to the movies, I just want to be entertained. Loud explosions, colossal battles and the like. Or alternatively, well delivered comedy.
Intricate plots, tense horror, and actual in depth plot that requires mental processing on my end I prefer to watch under my own roof, preferably by myself where I can not be distracted by a room filled with loud cunts.
Movies I feel are exactly for popcorn flicks like Pacific Rim. A popcorn flick with a decent plot, like, say, the Marvel films, are a bonus.
