As a Dks fan, I noted that Smough's armour's foot is resting on the floor like real feet, and his helmet's crest is looking at the enemy, rather than his face, which is in the "neck" of his "fat guy" armour. If I hadn't lost the artbook I had in an HDD crash recently, I'd show you. The armour goes on him just like the player wears it.
Ornstein looks through the teeth of his helmet's lion crest, fyi. Most art gets that wrong too.
