I put Pulp Fiction in the "cult film" status because of its following, not it's obscurity. It is a "cult classic" style film that just happened to be so damned good that people couldn't help but make it a big hit.
But here, if you want cult films, here's one I like that not many people have seen. (except you hipsters, I'm sure)
