>>5518799>your using full transparency on EVERYTHINGonly 10% transparent on the currently active window, 20% on others.
vim + console have dark bg, not clear bgs which helps the text stand out from
the wallpaper.
only things I keep 0% transparent is media players, games and comic reader.
>busy wallpaperbackground changes every couple minutes, but busy wps are not really noticeable
at 10% transparency.
>pretty horrible colorssorry I like orange
>million windows openonly 6 windows over 2 screens, and thats just to show apps off(I do not usually
have a picture of The Game showing either), usually use 1 on left and 2 or 3 on
right, 9 workspaces per screen means I can switch individual windows pretty
damn fast.
my vim window is usually split 1/2 or 1/3 but it's usually the only thing on
the screen, I like to not have to jump around a bunch when coding and I keep
code at 80char so I never have to scroll w/ split windows(and can be 100% PEP8
:D)
>how do your eyes stand it?they seem to be doing fine, they're not so bad that they can't tell whats going
on, they like to look at orange, and a bunch of open windows don't affect them
any more than just one
What feels really good are my hands/wrists, I don't have to use the mouse so
when I go on coding binges I can use my ergo keyboard 100% of the time.
Do you have constructive suggestions(what colors look shitty? what would be
better ones? what should I make not transparent?)
One thing I'm thinking about changing is my console colors, turning either
yellow or dark blue into orange and getting my green back and make me not have
to edit the irssi theme to get IRC colors to match. I should probably make the
date/time text match the taskbar's white fg colors too.
