Widget locker, you can use different sliders and different widgets. And i'm not familiar with any music player widgets so i can't help you with that one

Nova locker and widget locker.

Most phones just have that, sucks yours doesn't. Nova/widget locker will solve that for you though.

Poweramp has a fantastic selection of widgets and is all around REALLY worth the $5 if you play music from your phone memory/sd card. Unfortunately only controls poweramp, doesn't work with any other players. Wish it could control spotify, the default spotify widget is hideous and there's nothing that's compatible with it.

Also as far as launchers go, Apex and Nova are great but my personal favorite is ADW.
