I LOVE old skyscraper construction photos.....just seeing these gives me vertigo. I wonder how common it was for people to die working on these.

These are not wallpapers, however they significant historical value.

My grandfather took these.

He was in U.S. Air fleet of bombers.

B-24's.

In France, taking part in major missions that I believe included the bombing of Nazi industrial facilities.

Happy to share with you here, I am fascinated with world war II history.

I have been considering removing the protective covering on these and then scanning them again because a akward refraction of light appears on the photos.
