Not much different than windows 7.

Metro is fine, i have like 10 things in there and with picture icons i can find them faster than anything i could on a start menu. Plus remember right clicking on the bottom left of your screen brings up system management shit.

The taskbar icons are just shortcuts, so they can be replaced by changing the icon in the properties menu. All the other icons are changed by using the registry.

http://rainmeter.net/cms/ - how people get those clocks and shit onto their screens (they're called skins)
http://www.deviantart.com/ - where 90% of the good skins/themes are. just look around.

I've tried installing it and i don't know if i did it wrong or right, but i assume that i did it wrong... I don't know how to change the icons (without having to open up the preferrences on each and every object i need to change) and i don't know how to center the icons in the middle of the proces bar :/ any help?

No, that's correct. The theme doesn't change your icons, you have to do that manually.
Center taskbar:

Change system icons:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/70353-favorites-change-default-icon.html
It's a one time only thing, so as long you don't reinstall Windows you should be good for a long time.
There are programs that can do it for you, but I haven't found one that works properly with Windows 8 yet.

What do you mean "adjust"? It's themed through uxtheme, theme is "Racy", icons are Token Light, while Token dark through registry. Mountain is Everest.

Changed the default folder icon through the registry. There is a tutorial for it. I didn't change much of the system icons, but those can also be changed using the registry.

Nope. It's Aimp with the Ladient skin.

This is mine, I'm using rainmeter's enigma skin for the music widget, the games shortcut and all the stuff on the right. I've changed the icons to be white, and my start menu is from startisback, so I have an actual start menu. Wallpaper is on a slideshow.

You don't search for it in cmd. You do following:
Ctrl + R > regedit > ctrl + F > (path here).
I usually have all the boxes ticked in the Find window.

What exactly isn't working? Looks fine except for the titlebar text background which is a Windows 8.1 problem. I have a fix for that though.

Yea, I have a fixed version for it, but it's not perfect. The problem with the title bar is gone but some of the other elements still need to be changed or they have glitches in them.
