>>5646980I own Morrowind, I've had it for a long time, and I've never played more than an hour each time I try to pick it up. The combat makes no sense, and I miss 1000% of my attacks. Hitboxes were broken and I died so many times I gave up out of frustration every time I played. The atmosphere is awesome though, considering I never played with mods or anything, and the music is godly. But jesus christ it's unplayable for me.
I really enjoyed Oblivion, it was the first Elder Scrolls game I played. I guess since I haven't played through Morrowind I don't know what you mean when you say that they took out a lot of the freedom. But I never felt restricted in those games at all.
Skyrim was definitely stripped down but I still enjoyed playing it.
