Just keep applying for local jobs. Walk in and ask for applications in person. Good piece of advice I got from a friend was that you probably won't get hired by anyone that doesn't see your face. Online applications are bullshit if you don't have a resume. I got my first job a few months ago (also 25) after looking for like three years.

Hey dude, I'm 27, and after years of busting my ass I've finally managed to get out just before Christmas. Im working a job I really hate but when I get back to my own place and stick on BF3 or Metro or whatever and kick back its totally worth all the shit.
