>>5735597That's the funny thing about Toriyama, he had planned on ending it after pretty much every Saga. Even after the saiyan saga, it was meant to end after Goku finally finds out who and what he really was, and then is forced to put an end to the last remaining of his own race because of how awful they were. And while it's obvious the push from his editors/publishers/fanbase are what made him continue, I don't think at any point he was ever annoyed or upset with having to continue the series.
He definitely made mistakes though, the Cell Saga was the biggest offender, my personal peeve was how Toriyama set up Gohan to be the next big thing, as if he was going to carry the series after defeating Cell, but obviously poor fan feedback forced him to write Goku back in as the obviously strongest, even if he did remain dead for most of the Buu saga.
I never believe that Toriyama has ever hated his creation at any point, or even necessarily tired of it, but he was absolutely guilty of the sin of occasionally bending over backwards to the fandom. Which is a problem for a lot of Manga creators actually, most recently the creator of Attack On Titan, who revealed that he's going to change the allegedly overly intense ending of the series, to one that he feels will be more acceptable for the fans.
