>>5764935The G700 has all the features you seem to want plus more. The G700 also has on-the-fly DPI adjustment with its two forward buttons. Since you're into editing, you'll find that the G700's mouse wheel's side scrolling is nice for scrolling across a horizontal timeline. For some reason the RAT 5's horizontal scroll wheel isn't mapped as an actual horizontal scroll wheel by default and I never got it to work.
The DPI on both the RAT 5 and G700 is 5600, so you wouldn't lose out either way. I never max out DPI because I like lower sensitivities, so I can't really help you there.
Now that I have it here in front of me, I would say that one good thing about the RAT 5 is that it's better for larger hands. My hands aren't particularly big, but it feels a lot better ergonomically. It's also nice because it has removable weights and palm adjustment.
If I were you, I'd find some way to test them both out first. If you were to get both like I did, I would get the G700 first because it has more features, then get a RAT 5 if you really aren't content with the G700.
