The anarchist who is collectivist and wants everything to be owned by everyone, and the anarchist who is individualist, who wants people to be able to own their own possessions, they have the same goal.
The goal is the destruction of government, of a society that has rules enforced by men.
The collectivist believes that without government, communism will be established, and no one will own anything exclusively.
The individualist believes that when government is no more, that people will be able to own the sweat of their brow, without it being confiscated by the government involuntarily.
But both work towards the abolition of the state. While the divergence is in what one believes will happen after that, it is only a divergence in opinion. The functional goals are identical.
