>>5956154Unfortunately my anonymous friend, I just another dick-bearer.
I understand the whole conundrum with the apps not being there=no user interest but no user interest=no apps developed but I honestly think Microsoft just needs to throw more money into it. I think they've deluded themselves into thinking apps aren't a primary driving force for a lot of consumers but the problem is that apps ARE the driving force for most consumers, people like you, I, and old people are the exception and I think Microsoft thinks this market is a lot bigger than it is. It's also a problem that Windows Phone still has quite a bit of stigma attached to it such as "doesn't it get the blue screen of death?" Or "I heard it has no apps and lots of glitches" and people just don't give it a chance because they don't see it as worth leaving their comfy little iPhone or Android.
I find it sad that people will accept shortcomings from Apple and Google with little to no issue (bending phones or no ability to try an app before buying it) but the moment Windows Phone makes a misstep, it's just validation for all the hate it gets. *sigh* maybe someday I'll get my shot at WP marketing, at least that's one of the top goals for my marketing degree I'm working on.
