I have a 4k because it wasn't really a price jump from 1080 in the screen size that I purchased. I have it hooked up to my media computer, but for all extents and purposes it's just a really, really big TV and it would be nice if the wallpaper didn't look slightly off.

4K for TVs is somewhat useless, 4K in monitors definitely isn't.
I'm sitting here with a 1080p 27" LCD and I can make out every pixel.
