i genuinely enjoy some of these as much and in the same way as i enjoy rembrandt's paintings in rijksmuseum. despite glitch art being mostly unintentional, results of accidents ect. i do think it often deserves that name.

Easy. Buy a very expensive camera. Hit it with a hammer. Then it breaks a bit, but not totally and it's still full functional. Remember to buy a very expensive camera, the cheap ones will just don't work anymore after you hammered them. Then just take pictures, ????, PROFIT

it is. there's a guide or something on reddit iirc, but basically you need a program thats called processing and a script - the most popular one being kim asendorf's asdfpixelsort.

surprisingly enough you are sort of right.. a lot of glitch art is made by playing with digital files, using hex editors, using wrong file formats, etc. but in my opinion, most of the best ones come from broken cameras and unintentional glitches
