ah ok, pretty much the same with me. over the years ive skipped around to lots of different edm genres, right now im mostly into deep house and bassline stuff. ill just list off some of my current top artists:

I've heard of almost all of those artists, but only listened to a few. Been meaning to look into several of them. Live, I've seen:
Skrillex, Dillon Francis, What so not, Milo & Otis (Mothership tour)
Borgore, Ookay, Jauz, Riggi & Piros (whatever tour they are currently on)

Going to see Datsik w/ Kennedy Jones, Trolley Snatcha, Barely Alive in 3 days. And Excision next month

ah cool cool, i can kinda get an idea of what style youre into. i was really into all the stuff you posted a couple years ago but recently ive gotten more into just deep sounds than filthy/grungy sounding stuff. ZHU though, forgot to mention him, so fucking good and thats the perfect example of what i listen to. you should check out AC slater if you havent already, he's like a combination of dirty dubstep and deep house sounds, pulls a lot of inspiration from UK garage style

also did you go to EDC LV?

Yea, I love the filthy, bass heavy stuff. But i'm starting to get more into the lighter, more "festival" oriented stuff. I'm not so good with keeping up with the genres, so i'm not sure what to call that lol. I'll def check out AC Slater. I've never been to EDC:LV. I want to soooo bad, though. It's like a dream. I was prepared to max out a credit card just to go this year haha. But none of my friends are into EDM like I am, so they arent willing to pay the price to go to EDC

gotcha, a lot of the festival oriented stuff is probably big room house but theres a ton of edm that doesnt really fit into a genre. ya EDC is expensive, once you factor in plane tickets (if you're too far to drive), hotel, food, etc it can almost get up to $1000. i went the past two years and luckily i could drive but now i live in tennessee so its out of the question, might try to hit up bonnaroo though

this stage was insane. wasnt a huge fan of the artists that played there but the stage itself was a feat of engineering and art, it shattered the world record for largest stage ever built too

I was thinking about trying to make it to TomorrowWorld this year. It's a little bit closer to me than LV, and a tad cheaper. Bonnaroo is also an option. I've never been to a festival. I'm dying to go.

hell ya man, festivals are awesome. if you mostly like edm then i would recommend tomorrow world over bonnaroo, EDC was easily the greatest experience of my life. where are you from?
